Limericks, Verse - Originally said orally
and served as commentaries on manners and behavior. Limericks are said in five lines and
the words are rhymed. Edward Lear, the English Painter & Humorist, the first Limerick
writer said in his Limericks Book "Nonsense" (1846) :
