MY POETRY CORNER
THE RAIN After the
deadly heat of summer,
I hear the long awaited Thunder
The sky in dark, clouds hovering,
Pours down the rain, roaring aloud
Green, green, here, there, everywhere
God is kind and fair
Peacocks dance with feathers open wide
A joyous feeling, luck by my side.
Rivers rushing down the hills flow
Rainbow peeping with the clouds glow
Rain, rain, rain, Come Again
Shower against my window pane
I shout with Glee!

A song from my collection
Yellow Submarine
In a land where I was born,
Lived a man who sailed to sea,
And he told us of his life,
In a land of submarine
So, we sailed off, to the sun
Till we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves,
In a Yellow Submarine
Chorus: We all live in a
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine, yellow submarine...(3)
And our friends are all aboard,
Many more of them live next door,
And the band begins to play,
Pa-ra-ra-ra-pum-pa-pum-pa-pum ..(2)
As we live a life of ease,
Everyone has all we need..all we need, all we need,
Sky of blue, sea of green,
In a yellow submarine....
Repeat....

Book Reviews By Parini:
The Dog and the Bone.
One day a dog found a bone and picked it up in his mouth. He then went to a
lonely corner. There he sat and chewed the bone for some time. Then after, the
tired dog fell asleep. When he woke up, he felt thirsty. So, he picked up the
bone and walked towards the river.
At the river, he saw his own reflection in the water. He thought that there was
another dog with a bone. He wanted to have that bone too. So, he opened his
mouth to bark. At once the bone slipped off and fell into the river.
The moral of the story is "Greed leads to grief" Hence, we should not
be greedy and always be content with whatever we have.
